A set-back for One Off

Unfortunately Wavertree One Off has had an accident whilst hacking out with Charlotte, he spun round when he was startled by a lorry and caught his hind leg on a dry stone wall. He seemed to be OK and Charlotte rode him home only to find the problem when she was washing him down.

Part of his splint bone had broken through the surface of his skin and it had to be removed, after his vet checked him over it was obvious that he still had some remaining bone in his leg and he had to have an operation to have it all removed.

After his initial annoyance at the disruption to his daily routine he now seems to be on the mend and much happier.
