The latest on Warrior

Wavertree Warrior is absolutely fine after his abortive trip to Brighton. Warrior was declared a non-runner today due to Ian Mongan reporting to Nick that the ground was very firm after he rode in the first race.

Given that we declared on good to soft ground, with the hope that the rain forecast would retain good somewhere in the description, it was very disappointing to return home without a run but it was agreed by all concerned that it was not in Warrior's best interest to run on going so firm.

Ironically at the same time that Brighton had changed so significantly and gone so firm Yarmouth had 22mm of rain and changed from good to firm to soft.
