First entry of the year for Bounty

Wavertree Bounty is one of 31 horses entered in the (0-60) Hatton Handicap Stakes over 1m 22y for 3 year olds only at Warwick on Bank Holiday Monday 5th April, timed currently at 3.30pm. There is a safety factor of 17, a field size limit of 15 and the going is currently heavy, soft in places with a wet outlook. Alan Munro has been booked for the ride once again.

As preparation John has worked Bounty on one of the Newmarket grass gallops this morning and was very pleased with how she handled things. He will however be keeping a watchful eye on how soft the going at Warwick gets before making a decision about declaration.

There are a few other options on the all weather coming up if the ground goes too soft on the turf although he would prefer to get her on good ground before it turns too firm.
