WAVERTREE BOUNTY
(2007 b. f. by Pastoral Pursuits ex Halo)

Introducing the newest addition to the Wavertree Family. This lovely  natured bay filly is by the leading first-season sire PASTORAL PURSUITS.

PASTORAL PURSUITS won 6 races, including the Gr.1 Darley July Cup, Gr.2 Park Stakes and Gr. 3 Sirenia Stakes.

Wavertree Bounty was consigned to the 2008 Tattersalls October yearling sales at Newmarket by Ash Tree Farm near Daventry, Northants, and she was purchased by Wavertree Racing for 6,500 guineas.

PASTORAL PURSUITS, the most successful son of Bahamian Bounty stands alongside his sire at The National Stud in Newmarket where he covered 98 mares in his first season.

Peter Doyle, leading bloodstock agent, said in the Racing Post: “I’ve bought a few yearlings by Pastoral Pursuits, as well as the top-priced foal by him, and I am very happy with them all. They are very taking individuals in the sale ring, and the two-year-olds are very sharp, precocious sorts who have been working well for Richard Hannon.” As well as being popular with Richard Hannon the progeny of Pastoral Pursuits are in training with a lot of top trainers including John Gosden, Mick Channon and Richard Fahey.
