The latest on Warrior

Wavertree Warrior has come out of his Wolverhampton race really well and is in "A1 condition" according to Nick. After his usual couple of 'easy days' he is now back cantering and was ridden by Emma this morning who reports that he "was like a lunatic", he is so fresh.

Nick was delighted with his run and was pleased that he stayed on as well as he did for second place, especially after Ryan lost a stirrup. Nick agreed with the Racing Post who felt that a stronger pace would have suited him more, the RP said that he is "consistant on artificial surfaces, was not disgraced against a progressive rival after racing with the choke out."

Ryan reported that he was a great ride, that he wished all his rides were as good and that he doesn't think it will be long before he is winning again.
