The latest on Warrior

Nick reports that Warrior came out of his Chepstow race fine. He was disappointed that Richard didn't get after Warrior from the start because when he did Warrior responded and came from last to 7th, doing all his best work at the end but unfortunately by then it was too late to get any nearer. The race commentary said afterwards that you cannot afford to be off the pace at Chepstow as it is almost impossible to make the necessary ground up.

Nick has now taken Warrior's shoes off ahead of him having a long deserved break, with the intention of him having a winter campaign on the all weather from December onwards. Despite being on the go as long as he has he yet again won the best turned out prize for Suzanne.

The handicapper dropped him by 2lbs on the turf and 1lb on the all weather, he is now rated at 51 & 63.
